Friday Finds- Pip and Bean & Rags to Stitches Raffle

For this Friday Finds, I bring you the delightful and adorable etsy shop, PIP and BEAN

Pip and Bean make super hero capes for kids!  See I told you they were adorable.  You can buy a one of a kind cape for your little super hero, and customize it to fit their unique personality.

What cute little girl wouldn't love to be a a super hero with a cape that had hearts and her initial?

And what little boy wouldn't love to be Superman or Batman, or Levi the great?

Pip and Bean was created by Alyssa Wolfe.  I have nothing but kind things to say about her too. She rocks!  Anyone with this kind of creativity does, right?  Alyssa was so kind and patient when I communicated her.  She makes purchasing from her etsy store easy peasy.

Here's what Alyssa has to say about the Pip and Bean Capes:

"All our capes are two sided satin cape measuring 29 inches long. This will fit kids starting at 2 years old and grow with them. The emblem is made from recycled polyester material and the closure is velcro to provide a quick release to keep your child safe. Our capes are a wonderful way to foster imaginative play which is the building blocks to fundamental learning."

I found out about Pip and Bean from reading Kelle Hampton's blog, Enjoying the Small Things.  Seeing her daughter Lainey in her cape made me want to give a cape to every kid I know.  How fun would it be to have little supers running around everywhere?

What's even neater, is you have an opportunity to get your own little super hero a cape to wear.

Remember how I mentioned that Alissa from Rags to Stitches is having a raffle to help the Miller Family raise funds for their international adoption?   I decided to help by donating some items to her raffle.  One of those cool items is a cape from Pip and Bean!  Winner gets to choose either a red and blue cape (think Superman) or a green and yellow cape (think Robin, Batman's sidekick).  Both are reversible, and gender neutral capes.  How cool would it be to win one?

The Rags to Stitches Raffle to help the Miller Family begins next week! EEEEEEE! February 28th, 2011 is the big day. There are some really great people and companies involved in donating items. Some of them are:

Pretty exciting right?  I feel blessed to be able to help and can't wait to see how God uses this wonderful event to help such an inspirational family.

So remember, February 28th head over to Rags to Stitches and you'll have a chance to win some great prizes, and help a family adopt a child worthy of parents and love.

These are so cute! My little boy would LOVE one of these capes. :-) He hasn't gotten into superheros too much yet, but he likes to wrap a blanket around his neck and run really fast. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Glad I found you!

So cute! Thanks for sharing- I'm heading over to check those out right now. My little girl has been running around with a sleeper over her shoulders for the past couple of weeks, so I know a cape would be a huge hit! Stopping by from SITS. Hope you have a great day!
