My Crocheted Headband

First off I would like to say that this wonderful project was not my own creation. Nope.  I went Stumbling around a few nights ago and found a great tutorial on how to make a crocheted headband.

I am not a great crocheter (is that a word?). I learned how to crochet in High School from a friend.  She was able to teach me even though I am left handed. And she taught me how to crochet like a righty.  Yay for being Ambidextrous.

I know how to do some stitches, and I can make simple afghans, or scarves. And now I am proud to say I can make cute hair accessories too.

I found the awesome and easy tutorial from Cami over at You Seriously Made That?

She's got a great blog, full of fun ideas and projects she's done.  I hope I did her tutorial justice and that she approves of my new cute hair accessory.

Oh, and again, forgive the close ups of my face, it was 2 AM and I was and am stinkin' tired....

Ughfff...I just noticed now see how big my nose really is.
See how cute crocheted headbands are? Even baby girl approves.
Just kidding, that's a picture from the other day. But I know she can't wait to grow some hair and wear one herself.

If you liked my new headband head over to Cami's blog, You Seriously Made That? and follow her tutorial to make your own.

It was simple and fast, two words you know I like to hear when talking about crafts.

And if you don't think you can crochet one of these, you're dead wrong. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU! Si, se puede mi personas! Go to Walmart or Michael's grab a crochet hook and some yarn and get crackin'.

Great job! I learned how to crochet a LONG time ago from my grandmom, but all I can do are simple stitches to make afghans & blankets & scarves. This *looks* like it'd be pretty easy though.

Anyways, it looks super cute on you!

Cute headband! I love it!
I'm a lefty too and my mom would never teach me as a kid. I finally talked her into when I was an adult. I haven't kept up with it though. Something as cute as this might make me reconsider!
