A Taste of Morocco- Make your family a dinner from across the globe

Moroccan Night at home (1)
This weekend I got inspired to try something I’ve never done before. I made a delicious Moroccan dinner and gave my family a chance to taste food from the other side of the globe.  I made a Moroccan couscous using a modified recipe I found, Justin made Moroccan bread K’sra, and I made a spicy Chorizo Tagine using a recipe from this great book I bought at World Market.

I was inspired to create a Moroccan Dinner night after shopping at World Market and seeing their new Kingdom Anamalia line that they are promoting. All of the décor and pieces from the line had me wishing I could take off on trip around the world, to see and experience exotic countries, and all of their alluring secrets.

Since I wasn’t able to pack up my family and head off for a trip to Africa, I decided to settle for some shopping and bringing a bit of exotic décor and flavor home with me.

I love the tie dye cloth napkins I found (especially since they are in one of my favorite colors), and the glass tumblers that are from Tunisia go perfectly with them.  While I was there, I also picked up the Horn and Bone serving set, the white ceramic serving bowl, the Moroccan Couscous, and the small Dutch Oven that I made the Chorizo Tagine in.

Our Moroccan inspired dinner night was so awesome, and Justin and I both loved getting to try out new recipes together. Just one of the perks we have as a married couple who love to cook and shop together, right? We had so much fun I am thinking about doing a themed cuisine night once or twice a month. How cool would it be to experience new flavors and meals as a family, cooking and enjoying them together?

World Market would love for you to be inspired by their Kingdom Anamalia line too. In fact, they’d love for you to do more than just bring home a few items from their new line. World Market would love to give one of you the trip of a lifetime, an African Safari Getaway!
